Reformer Pilates in Indianapolis

Reformer Pilates at Foundations means small classes, hands-on cues, and a machine that meets you where you are. Every reformer class is capped at 4 people, so your instructor can actually watch how you move.

Every instructor designs their own class, blending classical and contemporary Pilates, so no two sessions feel the same.

Max 4 people

Group Reformer

Our signature class. All levels welcome, with a full-body workout on the reformer led in a room of no more than four people. Your instructor adjusts springs, tempo, and cues for everyone in the room, so the class feels personal even though you're not alone.

Slower pace

Gentle Flow Reformer

A slower, more supportive class with extra stretching built in. Gentle Flow is a favorite for older clients and anyone who wants a calmer pace without losing the benefits of reformer work — better balance, strength, and mobility.

30 minutes

Stretch on the Reformer

A short, all-stretching class on the reformer. Thirty quiet minutes to lengthen tight muscles, ease soreness, and reset your body between workouts — a gentle add-on to your week or a stand-alone reset.

Intro to Pilates Reformer

Built for brand-new clients. You'll learn how the reformer works, how the springs and straps move, and how to find your footing before joining a group class. It's the easiest, calmest way to start.

Who reformer Pilates helps

Built for wherever your body is today

Reformer Pilates is low-impact and adjustable, which is exactly why it works for so many different people. Clients come to us recovering from an old back injury or a new one, looking to stand a little taller, or wanting core strength that carries into everyday life.

We also see plenty of athletes cross-training between seasons, and seniors who want to keep their strength and balance steady as they age. Because the reformer's resistance and range of motion can be changed in seconds, our instructors adapt workouts specifically to each client — whoever you are, whatever brought you in.

Before your first group reformer class

New to the reformer? You'll want prior reformer experience, a private session, or our Intro to Pilates Reformer class first. This keeps every Group Reformer class safe and comfortable for everyone in the room, and it's the fastest way to feel confident once you join.
